Role Overview:
The Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for engaging with prospects to understand their business problems and pain points and positively influencing their decision to schedule a meeting with the Nuix sales team.
The role includes using advanced generative and agentic AI tools to drive high-volume outreach to prospective buyers with the objective of delivering quality meetings for the sales team. This role may also get involved with supporting new revenue opportunities with existing accounts and marketing initiatives.
This position is based in our Sydney office. The successful candidate will be required to attend the office a minimum of
three days per week
, with the option to work remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently exceed activity targets, pipeline growth metrics, monthly KPIs, and revenue goals.
- Engage with prospective customers to uncover their business problems and pain points and qualify them using the BANT framework.
- Drive outbound prospecting efforts, including making high-volume daily calls to initiate conversations and create opportunities.
- Confidently use and optimise AI tools and agentic AI systems to scale outreach efforts.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture potential business opportunities, gathering key insights to build and maintain a strong, high-quality sales pipeline.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Nuix products, value propositions, and new releases, while staying up to date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and confirm prospect needs at every stage of the lead qualification process to ensure alignment and maximise value.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven sales development and lead generation experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Confident in qualifying prospects using the BANT framework and clearly articulating value to key prospects where required to schedule sales meetings.
- Familiarity with AI tools and agentic AI systems and experience in using them within a sales development context a major plus
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Highly organised, with exceptional time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A proactive self-starter, driven to learn and grow within a world-leading software solutions company.
- Skilled at overcoming objections and navigating challenges, with a growth mindset and openness to feedback for continuous improvement.
