About you

As a QA Tester Team Lead at Protecht, you will be overseeing and elevating the quality assurance process across multiple development teams.

You will be the driving force behind streamlining test planning, execution and reporting, managing QA processes and backlogs and ensuring high-quality software releases for our SaaS solution, the Enterprise Risk Management (Protecht.ERM) system. In addition, you will manage and mentor a QA team that strives to implement best practices for software quality assurance using modern tools.

Typically, you will:

• Design and implement scalable test procedures for manual, automation, API and performance testings to evaluate the application functionalities.
• Hands-on work in API testing, UI automation (Robot Framework), and performance/load testing.
• Build and maintain test automation using modern test automation frameworks.
  
  Solve complex QA challenges. Optimise test suites and troubleshoot automation issues.
• Presenting test reports to management and suggesting software fixes.
• Define and track QA metrics (test coverage, defect leakage, cycle time…etc) to measure team productivity and quality trends.
• Own and refine end-to-end QA processes to improve team efficiency and predictability.
• Lead QA sprint ceremonies (planning, retrospectives) to continuously improve testing workflows.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years in QA, with 2+ years leading QA teams in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design, defect tracking and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of API testing (ReadyAPI, Postman, etc), automation testing (Robot Framework, Selenium or similar), and performance testing (Jmeter or similar).
• Ability to develop clear and concise test plans and collating data to compile test reports.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate QA metrics into actionable insights.

Essential skills

• Experience with automated testing of UI interface with Robot automation framework or similar testing tools.
• Experience with testing of API services using automated tools such as Jmeter and ReadyAPI.
• Experience with performance testing and provide test report to identify software performance bottlenecks.
• Experience testing user identity management solutions such as Single Sign-On and user provisioning.
• Familiar with server monitoring systems such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
