Are you an experienced team leader with experience in civil construction and maintenance? If you answered yes, then look no further as Cessnock City Council is seeking a Team Leader to join our maintenance crews
The Team Leader will be responsible for delivering programmed road and drainage maintenance and minor construction works within time, quality and cost targets. From organising goods and services to liaising with residents, community members, contractors and other stakeholders, you will be responsible for all elements of programmed works.
By leveraging your leadership skills and industry knowledge, you will play a crucial part in achieving our operational goals and shaping a positive work environment.

Remuneration$75,969 - $87,964 per annum plus superannuation.

To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated hands on experience in civil construction and maintenance, with a strong focus on roads and drainage.
You will also hold all of the following:
- Current MR Driver Licence
- Work Health and Safety General Construction Induction (White Card)
Holder of, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of commencement:
- Current Traffic Controllers Certificate
- Current Traffic Controllers Certificate (Implement Traffic Control Plans)
- Current Safe Work Near Powerlines
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
- Vehicle Load Crane
- Confined Spaces
- Safe Working at Heights
