About the role
As a Disability Support Worker with EnableU Health Solutions', you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in the Silverdale, NSW 2752 region. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to work around your schedule. Your primary focus will be to provide compassionate and tailored care that empowers our clients to live independently and engage with their community.
Shift Details
- Saturday & Sunday: 9am–12pm (AM) or 4pm–7pm (PM)
- Tuesday: 4pm–7pm (PM)
What you'll be doing
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Supporting catheter bag changes and hygiene maintenance
- Ensuring a clean, safe home environment including general cleaning and laundry
- Providing companionship and emotional support through conversation and social engagement
- Collaborating with the broader EnableU Health Solutions' team to ensure the highest level of care
What we're looking for
- A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the aged care or disability support sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to accommodate the unique needs of each individual
- A relevant tertiary qualification or Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 6+ months experience in disability support services
