Now, we're on the lookout for a Facilities Technician to join the team at Strike, Holey Moley and Archie Brothers in Maroochydore - someone who's passionate about people, driven by fun, and ready to create unforgettable experiences.

This role is a 12-month contract.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue
  • Staying in close contact with our Development team and your Venue Manager by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks
  • Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all amusement activities and venue attractions/devices
  • Maintaining databases and spare parts
  • Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety
  • Working with your Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue
  • General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team.

What You've Got:

  • Natural technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Proven technical or mechanical experience
  • Ability to systematically work through complex problems
  • A willingness to learn and problem solve
  • A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work
  • An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems
