WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Governance Officer to join our Strategy and Governance team at BHFLHN. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to work closely with the Governing Board Committees and Executive, and other senior stakeholders, contributing to robust and effective governance practices across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.
Please note: This position is currently undergoing a classification review. It will be classified at the ASO6 level as a minimum.

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?
Our network is made up of many sites, that run from Gawler in the North to Kangaroo Island in the South, we have access to offices in the middle of the CBD, and some of our locations offer hot desk arrangements. We will work with you to ensure a suitable location or locations are made available to you across one or many of our sites. You will also have the option to spend some time each week working from home. This will be negotiated with you should you be successful.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Deliver professional secretariat services including agenda preparation, minute taking, and tracking of decisions and actions.
- Support the integrity and effectiveness of governance processes by ensuring accurate records, high-quality documentation, and timely communication.
- Facilitate the flow of information between the Board, Committees and the Executive, enabling informed decision-making.
- Maintain and improve governance frameworks, policies, and compliance with legislative and public sector obligations.
