THE COMPANY:

MAK Industrial Water Solutions is a national water and waste water treatment specialist. MAK Water designs and manufactures a wide range of water treatment plants, and supports its customers with a network of service teams across Australia.

We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of water treatment plants, with a wide range of technologies, and a strong future order book for plants to be installed in Australia and overseas.

THE ROLE

MAK Water are currently looking for a Service Technician to join the Western Australian team. The role is a permanent full time position, predominantly working Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Service Manager, core duties include:

  • Completing schedule preventative maintenance to clients water treatment plants
  • Completing reactive and breakdown maintenance
  • Reporting on service outcomes and provide technical advise to improve customer satisfaction
  • Assisting with system upgrades, improvements and commissioning of water treatment plants
  • Traveling to various clients sites in Perth, and regional WA

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will be willing to learn and grow in an expanding company, taking on new challenges. You will also:

  • Hold a technical or mechanical trade
  • Hold a valid Australian Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Have strong problem-solving capability and technical skills
  • Have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and write service reports
  • Be comfortable working independently, including flexibility to travel to sites
