About the Position

This role requires the expertise of a Service Technician with extensive experience in the Security sector. You will be required to maintain, and troubleshoot security systems, including intruder alarms, access control and CCTV.

Your responsibilities will involve assessing vulnerabilities in security systems, with the ability to implement solutions to enhance overall security measures. You will be required to provide user training and technical support to end users, as a result, your impressive communication skills will be fully utilized.

System checks and fault finding ability is essential to success in this role. Your experience in reviewing the performance of security products, to ensure proper system functionality, will be well regarded, as part of your variety packed and challenging day.

5 Years + Electronic Security Systems: In-depth knowledge of various electronic security systems including access control, intrusion detection, surveillance cameras and alarm systems. Gallagher, Geutebruck. are the systems you will be working on, however work exposure to Genetec, Milestone and Integriti is desirable.

In this role you will be focusing on service and minor projects works. Government and similar based clients.

Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols and IP addressing for the integration and configuration of networked security devices.

Security Regulations and Standards: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations standards and compliance requirements to ensure installations meet legal and regulatory expectations.

Troubleshooting: Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic security systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Security License will assist in securing
• Cabling License
• Driver's License
• Construction White Card or Relevant State Construction card negotiable
