Builtrite Services Pty Ltd, is a family-owned construction company which specialises in both residential and remedial works. We are seeking a results-driven Construction Leading Hand to join our growing organization.

In this position, you will be responsible for the day to day site operations and serve as the point of contact for the projects and be expected to liaise between trades, suppliers, clients, and management, as well as willing to preform Hands on duties when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Site supervision and coordinating trades onsite
  • Assist in developing and maintaining construction programs and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Manage multiple construction sites simultaneously, ensuring all work are carried out efficiently and safely.
  • Ordering and scheduling of material required for the works to be completed without delays.
  • Preparing and sending request for quotes
  • Providing daily updates to the Project Manager.
  • Implementing and managing Work Health and Safety procedures on site.
  • Maintain project safety standards and always keeping site clean and safe
  • Be responsible for ensuring project budgets and timelines are adhered too.
  • Maintain site documentation including site diary, safety records and Safe Work Method Statements.
  • Completing general onsite duties and assistance

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in residential projects as either a Site foreman / Leading Hand
  • New home construction experience is essential for this role
  • High communication skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, hardworking, strong work ethics and be a team player
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficiency in construction software is required
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
  • WHS whitecard
  • First Aid certification is required in addition to White Card
  • The ability to understand tenders, scope of build and interpret plans
  • Willing to be hands-on according to what is needed
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position
