What does the job look like?

As the Senior Project Coordinator for the Fleet Electrification Project (FEP), you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure projects focused on electric vehicle (EV) adoption and associated systems. Based in either Laverton, Victoria or Willawong, Queensland, and working closely with the Project Director, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of projects within budget and scope. This role will see you engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and meet sustainability goals. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Project Director in managing EV infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, government bodies, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment with project goals.
• Assist in tracking project budgets, ensuring financial control and optimal resource allocation to support project execution.
• Contribute technical insights related to EV infrastructure, ensuring feasibility and effective application of engineering principles.
• Provide updates on project status, prepare documentation, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of project delivery, ensuring environmental goals are met.

We're looking for a motivated Senior Project Coordinator with a strong background in infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or energy sectors. You should have experience managing timelines, resources, budgets, and relationships, all while ensuring the integration of sustainability and environmental principles. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about sustainability, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

• A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects, particularly in transport, electric vehicles, or energy sectors. Experience working with government bodies and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electric vehicle systems and infrastructure is a plus. A background in engineering is preferred. Proficiency in budget management, Microsoft Office Suite, and sustainability platforms is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to engage stakeholders and influence decisions. Strong ability to adapt and thrive in a changing environment.
• Customer-centric, adaptable, and committed to sustainability. A positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn.
