Job Title: Underground Geologist

We are seeking a skilled Underground Geologist to join our team. As an Underground Geologist, you will play a key role in supporting the development of processes for underground mineral resource development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support the development of processes for underground mineral resource development to aid in ensuring the timely delivery of material into the mine plan.">
  • Work with the modeling and resource estimation team to improve geological data for grade control and resource estimations.">
  • Plan, monitor and implement Mine Geology business improvement projects.">
  • Contribute to End of Month (EOM) reconciliation and reporting processes.">
  • Support the Grade Control team in GC modeling and estimation.">
  • Train and mentor graduates and mine geologists.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • BSc in Geology or higher-level qualifications.">
  • Previous underground mine geology experience.">
  • Strong grasp of mining geology including gold sampling and assaying, geological interpretation, grade modeling.">
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.">
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Vulcan, Leapfrog & Datashed desirable; Deswik knowledge is advantageous.">
  • Permanent work rights in Australia.">
  • Current C class Manual Drivers Licence.">
  • A National Police Clearance.">
