We now have an exciting opportunity available for a PSC Contract Administrator to join us in our People Operations team in Melbourne or Brisbane on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Resource Planning and Contingent Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient and compliant administration of the contingent workforce by managing operational processes such as hiring, onboarding, agreement execution, and HRIS data entry. This role ensures accurate documentation, supports stakeholder and vendor coordination, and contributes to reporting and compliance with organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and current contingent worker records in the HRIS, including updates for contract variations, extensions, and terminations.
- Prepare, review, and manage individual agreements for various contingent engagement types, ensuring compliance with company policy, procurement standards, and legislation.
- Collaborate with external recruitment partners and hiring managers to support recruitment activities, manage communications, and track vendor performance against KPIs.
- Oversee the full contingent hiring and onboarding process—from sourcing and interviews to offer preparation and compliance checks.
- Apply multiple rate calculators with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and industrial instruments to ensure pay rates are compliant and aligned with organisational standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support seamless contingent workforce operations and proactive issue resolution.
Your background
- Relevant tertiary degree, possibly in Commerce, or Human Resources
- Relevant industry experience in HR with background in People Operations
- High attention to detail with the ability to understand and interpret contracts and procurement documentation
- Ability to Liaise with external stakeholders to onboard a worker
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with HRIS or procurement systems (e.g., Workday or similar).
