Introduction

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. 

 Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource.

 The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate.

Description

This position is offered on a full-time basis, working 12 hours per day on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster at our Bellevue Gold Project outside of Leinster WA. 

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

Utilise appropriate equipment and survey best practices to generate accurate survey data in a timely mannerMaintain survey equipment to a high standard and ensure equipment is kept within required calibration and adjustment parametersEnsure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessibleAssist with creation of Mine Plans for regulatory submissionsInstall survey stations for directional control of miningCarry out accurate mark-ups of all designs for development and diamond drilling activitiesProduce survey plans and memos as required to a high standard and in a timely mannerCarry out development pick-ups and maintain an accurate survey as-built modelConduct CMS surveys as required and validate resultsAssist with end-of-month surveysComplete and assist with aerial survey work as requiredConduct surface set outs and pickups as requiredConduct other miscellaneous survey tasks as required

Skills And Experiences

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies: 

Diploma or bachelor's degree in SurveyingPrevious Surveying experience in a mechanized hard-rock underground mineExperience using Deswik SurveyGood skills in spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and database applicationsExcellent numeracy skillsAbility to work unsupervised as requiredAbility to forward plan and prioritise multiple tasksCurrent C Class WA Driver's LicenseHLTAID003 Provide First Aid (desired, but not essential)
