Industrial Sewing Machinist – Bigfoot Bags (Brookvale, NSW)

Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time

$30–$40/hr + Super (depending on experience)

Bigfoot Bags has been producing high-quality sewn goods for years, with a strong reputation across 4WD, marine, trades, fitness, and commercial industries.

We are growing and looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our workshop on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Your Role

You'll be producing:

  • Custom gear bags
  • Canvas & PVC covers
  • Tool rolls
  • Industrial textile components
  • Prototypes and one-off items
  • Small production runs

You'll work closely with the team to deliver high-quality, durable sewn products for both retail and commercial customers.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

Experience operating industrial sewing machines (Juki, Pfaff, Consew, etc.)

Confident working with canvas, vinyl, PVC, Cordura, and nylon fabrics

Ability to follow patterns, measurements, and job sheets

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Reliable, positive attitude — team player

Experience in upholstery, canvas work, sailmaking, costume, or textile fabrication (highly regarded)

Pattern-making skills are a bonus but not required.

Pay & Hours

  • $30–$40 per hour + super (negotiable based on skill level)
  • Full-time or part-time considered
  • Monday to Friday, flexible start/finish available
  • Brookvale workshop (close to shops, gyms, and parking)
