About the role:
Our client - a global leader in precision engineering and industrial solutions is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to drive business growth across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, and PNG. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established international organisation known for its innovative products and strong market reputation in the industrial, construction, and mining sectors.
- Lead national market and technology research to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Develop and execute strategies for sustainable sales growth.
- Manage and strengthen distribution channels and dealer networks.
- Oversee product development initiatives, launches, and marketing activities.
- Supervise and motivate a national sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor budgets, analyse performance, and provide regular market and competitor reports.
- Conduct product training for distributors, end-users, and educational partners (schools/TAFEs).
- Drive customer engagement, negotiate trading terms, and maintain strong client relationships.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a national or senior sales leadership role, ideally within industrial, pneumatic tools, or related equipment sectors.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales channels and distributor management.
- Demonstrated success in staff leadership, training, and development.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in business growth and product marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
