What you'll be doing

As a Clinical Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals by delivering timely and accurate administrative services that keep the emergency department running smoothly.

  • Provide essential admin support across multiple wards/units
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and workforce records
  • Coordinate meetings and manage documentation for clinical teams
  • Help streamline communication and patient care processes
  • Work under broad supervision with scope for initiative and independent action

Selection Criteria:

  • Holds or is willing to obtain a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, comprehension, and spoken word with the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and HealthRoster.
  • Ability to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
