About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced General Freight Driver to support our local operations within our Gracemere Depot. As a dynamic, family-run business, we are an industry leader in the AU Logistics Industry with a strong focus on people, safety and forging long term business relationships. As a result, we are experiencing rapid growth within the business and forecasted future growth and are seeking enthusiastic drivers to support our continued phase of growth.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will include (but not limited to) the following duties;

  • Maintain Emerald Carrying Company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and safety are adhered to at all time
  • Manage fatigue and perform logbook duties
  • Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions

Roster

  • Monday - Friday

Skills and Experience

  • Hold a current HC Licence (Essential) or MC Driver's License (Preferred) with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated driving experience
  • Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process
  • A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to interact with customers
  • Experience with Side Lifters would be advantageous
