Emerald Carrying Company (ECC) is a family-owned business and a leading provider of logistics services. In conjunction with Monaro Fuel Haulage (Monaro), a related family business, the ECC & Monaro Group provides services across Australia, specialising in bulk liquids, general freight & dangerous goods.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced General Freight Driver to support our local operations within our Gracemere Depot. As a dynamic, family-run business, we are an industry leader in the AU Logistics Industry with a strong focus on people, safety, and forging long-term business relationships. We are experiencing rapid growth and forecasted future expansion, and we are seeking enthusiastic drivers to support our continued growth.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will include (but not be limited to) the following duties:

  • Maintain Emerald Carrying Company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and safety are adhered to at all times
  • Manage fatigue and perform logbook duties
  • Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions

Roster

  • Monday - Friday
  • Attractive Salary + Super + Weekly pay cycles
  • Work/Life Balance - work close to home and a Monday - Friday Roster
  • Full-time, permanent position with a growing and leading AU Logistics organisation
  • Immaculate Kenworth Fleet - dedicated onsite workshop + wash bay facilities
  • All uniforms and boot allowance provided
  • Training with trade industry professionals, including Fuel Haulage if you are new to the industry

Skills and Experience

  • Hold a current HC Licence (Essential) or MC Driver's License (Preferred) with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated driving experience
  • Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment processes
  • A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to interact with customers
  • Experience with Side Lifters would be advantageous
