We're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator with heart, precision, and a passion for creating positive workplace experiences. You'll specialise in People Operations, Engagement & Culture, and Policy & Employment Relations, while also contributing across the full People & Culture function. This is a true generalist role with specialist depth, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, collaboration, and impact.

What You will Do

As a People & Culture Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of our people function, delivering operational excellence while driving initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and compliance.

You'll specialise in one or more key pillars while collaborating across the full People & Culture function, gaining rotation and development opportunities to grow your skills and influence.

Your Key Focus Areas:

• People Operations

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employment lifecycle activities.

• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR systems.
• Support payroll input and resolve employee or leader queries.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

• Engagement & Culture

• Coordinate recognition programs, staff events, wellbeing initiatives, internal communications, and surveys.

• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion activities to strengthen belonging.

• Contribute to culture-building initiatives that enhance employee engagement.

• Policy & Employment Relations

• Support policy reviews, Modern Award interpretation, and HR documentation.

• Advise or coach managers on employee relations matters.

• Ensure compliance with legislation and consistent practices across the organisation.

• Collaborative Function

• Work alongside your fellow Coordinator to flex across other pillars, provide backup, and contribute to initiatives spanning the full employee lifecycle, supported by mentorship and training.

What We are Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• People Operations:

• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.

• Ability to maintain accurate records, HRIS/digital platforms, and contracts.

• Payroll support experience, with strong organisation and discretion.

• Engagement & Culture:

• Experience coordinating engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and staff events.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.

• Policy & Employment Relations:

• Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, and NES.

• Ability to interpret and apply HR policies consistently.
• Experience advising managers on employee relations matters.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Strategic workforce planning, HR technology optimisation, or employer branding.
• Experience designing or delivering culture strategy, DEI initiatives, wellbeing programs, or engagement surveys.
• Exposure to workplace investigations, policy drafting, or liaising with external advisors.
