About The Role
As a
Maintenance Planner
, you will focus on planning and scheduling maintenance activities. You will help to improve the reliability and productivity of existing equipment by providing a cost-effective preventative and breakdown maintenance service that meets the current and future needs of the business.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop and track planning and scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Initiate the repair and/or purchase of spares & monitor inventory to maintain equipment reliability and minimise holding costs
- Document administration and Maintenance Management System Reporting
- Able to discuss and negotiate quotes required for repair of damaged parts/equipment
- Drive safety processes with the maintenance team (Toolbox, Work Permits and Risk Assessment) as a staff employee in trades and contractor environment
You are a self-driven professional who values safety, efficiency and leads by example. Your background in plant and equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance and leading a team within the manufacturing industry will see you excel in this role.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Prior Maintenance Planning/Maintenance Supervisor experience
- Trade background or Tertiary Qualifications
- Experience using MS Excel and other computer maintenance management system (preferably SAP)
- Condition monitoring experience will be highly regarded
- Demonstrable experience in a heavy industrial plant or similar 24/7 production environment
- Strong safety and customer focus with good communication skills
