SAP Functional Consultant – 6-Month Contract | Financial Services

Melbourne

We're seeking an experienced
SAP Functional Consultant
with deep expertise in
SAP HCM and ECC Payroll
to join a leading financial services organisation on a
6-month contract
. You'll be instrumental in delivering HR/PY solutions across
Australian and New Zealand payroll
environments, working hands-on within a collaborative delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration and support for
    SAP HCM (HR/PY)
    , including
    Personnel Administration
    ,
    Organisational Management
    , and
    AU Payroll
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    Australian payroll legislation
    and
    STP reporting
    .
  • Support and integrate
    SAP HR
    with
    SuccessFactors modules
    (Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning).
  • Manage integrations between SAP and external cloud/on-prem systems.
  • Produce detailed
    design documentation
    ,
    test cases
    ,
    run sheets
    , and
    backout plans
    .
  • Support
    SIT, UAT, and BVT cycles
    , addressing functional and change request requirements.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to
    process simplification
    and
    risk management
    .

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years
    hands-on SAP HR/PY consulting experience (AU/NZ).
  • Recent (2+ years)
    experience in
    SAP AU Payroll
    and
    legislative compliance
    .
  • Exposure to
    SuccessFactors
    (Performance, Goals, Compensation, Learning).
  • Strong integration experience across SAP and third-party systems.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong documentation, testing, and service management skills.
