About the role

We are seeking experienced Riggers & Boilermakers to join our team at SEQ Rigging in the Southeast Queensland region. As a Rigger or Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient Installation of Structural Steel on construction sites. This is a full-time position, and you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Working at heights and with mobile cranes for installation of Structural Steel
  • Working with the crew to assist in all aspects of structural steel installation including Hammer drilling, Slinging up loads, Dogging mobile cranes, Installing Purlin, Bridging etc

  • Boilermakers - Assisting with onsite rectification and site welding & Rigging if you obtain a Riggers ticket

  • Using your own hand tools for Structural steel erection.

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a Structural Steel Installation in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • HRWL - Basic Rigger, EWP at a minimum
  • Minimum two contactable references
