Director of Teaching & Learning

Georges River Grammar seeks an exceptional educational leader to join the community as Director of Teaching and Learning This is a full-time permanent position commencing Term 1, 2026.

Specific Responsibilities

The Director of Teaching & Learning 7-12 (DTL) is a school leader who provides an effective educational program by mobilising and coordinating the abilities and efforts of staff members for the purpose of creating a culture of practice that encourages young people to achieve their personal best.

The DTL is an integral member of the School's Senior Leadership Team (SLT). They support the strategic direction of GRG by leading the delivery of effective teaching and learning programs that are evidence-based and data-informed, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment.

The DTL works closely and collaboratively with the Deputy Principal and Head of Secondary School, leading, inspiring, guiding and modelling excellence in education, implementation of academic programs and development of pedagogy with all Secondary staff.
