Are you a creative and organised marketing professional with a passion for community impact? TDN is a not-for-profit organisation with a long and proud history, dedicated to helping Tasmanians age and live well in their own home for as long as possible.  We're looking for a dynamic Marketing & Communications Officer to bring our refreshed brand and messaging to life across digital, print, and community channels.

In this exciting role, you'll work across the full marketing mix—managing content, campaigns, events and communications—to enhance our visibility, drive recruitment and engagement, and strengthen our connection with the community.  You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent, high-quality marketing aligned with TDN's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will:

  • Manage Brand and Collateral - Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications and manage production of signage, templates, and promotional materials.
  • Drive Digital Marketing and Social Media - Create, schedule and manage engaging content across our website and social media platforms, and support the delivery of paid campaigns.
  • Coordinate Campaigns, Advertising & PR - Deliver marketing campaigns, media releases, advertising placements, and maintain campaign calendars and reports in collaboration with agency partners.
  • Lead Community Engagement & Events - Plan and execute community-facing events, manage logistics and branded materials.
  • Support Recruitment & Client Communications - Partner with People & Culture to promote TDN as an employer of choice and develop materials to enhance the staff and client journey.
  • Monitor Performance & Reporting - Track marketing performance metrics, provide monthly reports and contribute insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • A creative and detail-oriented marketing professional.
  • Experienced in digital content, social media, and campaign coordination.
  • Confident working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Skilled in using data to drive marketing improvements.
  • Passionate about connecting people and strengthening communities.

Experience in aged care, NFP, or community-based organisations is a plus
