The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented International Marketing and Recruitment Officer to support the growth of TasTAFE's international student enrolments. Reporting to the Manager International Business Development, you will work closely with our International Marketing and Recruitment Lead to implement key marketing initiatives, respond to international student enquiries, and manage agent relationships.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll create compelling digital content, support recruitment activities, and ensure a seamless student journey—from first contact through to enrolment.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position from 20 July 2025 to 20 May 2027.

This position offers the flexibility to be based in either Hobart or Launceston.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting international recruitment campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Creating and updating marketing content across digital platforms and print
  • Responding to international student and agent enquiries
  • Guiding applicants through the application and enrolment process
  • Engaging with agents, providing training, and monitoring commission records

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated knowledge of international education marketing and recruitment.
  • Strong administrative and digital marketing skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills across cultures.
  • Ability to manage agent networks and maintain accurate records.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to juggle priorities independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the VET sector or Tasmanian international education landscape.
  • Fluent in an additional language other than English.
  • A passion for international education and cross-cultural engagement.

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
