Leading financial services company requires a number of banking & finance lawyers to join expanding team
There are a number of newly created positions available to act as senior counsel or legal counsel in a highly collaborative team, but to be dedicated to particular business units:
For one position, which is a managerial position, the focus is on business financing and small business loans – you'll work as a business partner to this division and manage a team of transactional banking lawyers. This position would suit someone with a min. of 15 years' experience at a top law firm and/or banking institution, and will ideally have experience on the non-institutional side to bring to the table.
The second positions are senior banking counsel positions covering complex and strategic loans, and also some work on the equity side as well. You'll support the head of this team and advise on some novel financing deals in the market. This position will suit someone with minimum of 8 years' experience at a top law firm or banking institution. Strong preference will be given to those with experience in equity investments on a cross-border basis.
There are also legal counsel (5 + years experience) positions available in each of these teams.
These positions are based in Sydney's CBD and are offered on a full-time hybrid working basis with 3 days in the office.
