The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our dedicated maintenance team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for keeping our plant, equipment, and facilities operating at peak performance while ensuring strict food safety and Quality Assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all plant machinery, processing equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  • Install and commission new plant, equipment, and facilities to support ongoing growth and innovation.
  • Carry out preventative and routine maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and Quality Assurance standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Trade-qualified Fitter (Certificate III in Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; able to make decisions on the move.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks unsupervised.
  • Welding (MIG, TIG, stick) and machining experience desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in the food industry is highly regarded but not required.
  • High-level communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexible to work full-time roster hours, including rotating weekend shifts.
