About Us

Interactive Maintenance Solutions Pty Ltd is into its 2nd year of operation. We offer design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance services for our clients. We believe in working closely with our staff and clients to maintain and build bigger and better relationships.

Due to an increase in workload, we are looking to add an additional Site Boilermaker and Mechanical fitters to the team. The work will primarily be site maintenance and shutdowns.

About the role

  • Candidates will typically work 8-hour days with overtime available (Penalty rates apply)
  • 6 Hour Fridays – Unless overtime is required
  • Working on various equipment within a cement milling plant
  • A mix of project and general maintenance duties
  • The ability to branch out into mechanical work – a chance to learn more skills
  • Work within a small team (7) to achieve client requirements and expectations.
  • Working in Maritime areas

About You

You will have:

  • Minimum Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication /mechanical fitter
  • General Safety Induction Card
  • Confined Spaces Certification
  • Forklift Ticket
  • EWP ticket
  • MSIC - Ideal or willing to obtain (at our expense)
  • Relevant industry experience with fabrication in medium to heavy industry and site installation work
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • Experience with site shutdowns ideal however not essential
  • Experience in both heavy and light fabrication and maintenance
  • The ability to problem solve and meet client requirements and expectations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in team environments and work autonomously when required
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and designs
  • Additional ticketing and licenses desirable, but not essential
  • Permanant working rights with the ability to pass drug, alcohol and police checks

Company vehicles are available to drive around site and may form part of the remuneration package after probationary period is completed and agreed upon.
