We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Environmental Services Assistants to join our supportive team on a casual basis. This role involves afternoon shifts, where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
About the Role
As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors and staff. You'll work alongside a friendly and supportive team who embody our commitment to "People Caring for People".
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
- Ensuring equipment used during your shift is cleaned, restocked, and stored correctly.
- Supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (healthcare experience is an advantage).
- A strong customer service focus and a friendly, can-do attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
