We are seeking a highly capable Senior Cost Controller to support a diverse portfolio of major capital projects within the Peel region. This is a hands-on role working closely with project delivery teams across multiple sites, requiring a balance of technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

• Shape critical initiatives across decarbonisation, water security, and refinery efficiency programs

As Senior Cost Controller, you will:

• Provide cost management and project controls across a portfolio of infrastructure and resources projects.
• Support initiatives including refinery expansions, decarbonisation, efficiency upgrades, and water security programs (dams, pumping infrastructure, filtration systems).
• Deliver accurate cost forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and financial governance across multiple live projects.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders – from contractors to asset owners – ensuring alignment on project delivery and financial transparency.
• Balance competing priorities across multiple projects, ensuring robust cost control is maintained throughout.

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Demonstrated experience in cost control and project controls on complex, multi-site projects.
• Minimum 6-8 years of cost control experience on resources or infrastructure projects.
• Strong systems capability – Oracle Unifier experience advantageous (or the ability to quickly learn new systems).
• Ability to work collaboratively with both project teams on-site and senior executives.
• Flexibility to spend 60–80% of your time on-site in the Peel region, with some flexibility for office or remote work depending on project phase.
• Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Australian work rights are required for this position.
