Residential HVAC Designer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Residential HVAC Designer to join our team. In this role, you will take architectural house plans and transform them into ducted air conditioning layouts that meet Australian Standards, maximise comfort, and optimise energy efficiency.

Whether you're just starting your career or bring years of design experience, if you have worked in air conditioning installation, servicing, or HVAC systems, you'll have a strong advantage — and we'll provide training to help you excel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret residential house plans
  • Design ducted air conditioning layouts for maximum performance and efficiency
  • Work closely with sales and installation teams to finalise specifications
  • Ensure designs meet all relevant standards and compliance requirements
  • Prepare accurate, clear design documentation for installation
  • Maintain high attention to detail in all work

Skills & Experience

  • Interest in HVAC design and residential air conditioning systems
  • Experience in air conditioning installation, servicing, or HVAC systems (advantageous)
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with design software is an advantage — training provided.
