Our entire team, including our owners, are highly qualified tradespeople who understand the air-conditioning industry and are committed to providing quality customer service.

We are currently seeking a First Year Air-conditioning Apprentice to join our team. The role will work 38 hour week Monday-Friday, with overtime available.

At Perth City Air, you will have a unique opportunity to work directly alongside our passionate business owners.

What You Will Do as an Air-conditioning Apprentice at Perth City Air

Under the supervision of our experienced and qualified air-conditioning tradespeople, you will be trained in the installation and servicing of a wide range of residential and commercial air-conditioning systems, including:

  • Ducted air-conditioning
  • VRV systems
  • Ceiling cassettes
  • Wall split systems
  • Evaporative coolers
  • Roof Top Package systems

Who You Are

The successful applicant will need to be committed to completing an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship, including completing TAFE training in a timely manner.

In addition, applicants should have the following skills and experience:

  • Possess a great work ethic; be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and schedules
  • Sound Mathematical and English skills
  • Valid Driver's Licence – "C" Class unrestricted
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
  • Able to pass Drug & Alcohol and Medical Screening
  • Possess high attention to detail
  • Completion of an Air-conditioning Pre-Apprenticeship or training in this area would be an advantage
  • Experience in installing air-conditioning systems would also be advantageous.
