Your new role

We're seeking an experienced Residential Estimator to join the team and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely cost estimates across a range of residential projects. You'll be working with industry-standard software including DataBuild and
OnSite Companion, and collaborating closely with construction and design teams to ensure commercial success.

What you'll need to succeed

Your success in this role will come from prior experience in residential estimating using the software detailed above. It is hoped that your experience will come from the South East QLD market to give you an understanding of local industry pricing, legislation, subbies, suppliers and other key stakeholders. In this role you will be required to deliver the following duties:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for residential projects
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
  • Analyse plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain and update estimating databases using DataBuild and OnSite Companion
  • Support the tendering process and contribute to project budgeting
  • Work closely with project managers and senior leadership to meet deadlines
