Bayleys Earthworks is a locally owned and operated civil construction company specialising in basement excavations and detailed excavations. We also work alongside commercial builders on projects such as carparks, building pads, civil drainage, and pavements. With project values up to $5M, we deliver high-quality outcomes across the Gold Coast and SE QLD region.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This role offers flexibility to work from home, site, or both depending on project needs.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive tender estimates
  • Managing projects from award through to completion
  • Overseeing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Client and consultant liaison to ensure strong relationships
  • Preparing and tracking budgets, cost reports, and progress claims
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

About You

  • Proven experience in civil estimating and/or project management
  • Strong knowledge of basement excavation, detailed excavation, carparks, building pads, drainage, and pavements
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with estimating and project management software
  • Motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and within a team
