POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Treloar Civil & Quarries operate a number of Quarries within the North-West of Tasmania and are seeking someone to join their team in this critical part of business operations.  The position will be responsible for:

  • Complex crushing and screening plant operations and basic maintenance
  • Operating Front End Loaders and a range of mobile and fixed plant as required
  • Conducting routine activities to ensure ongoing safe and reliable operations
  • General housekeeping measures, for example, operating a water truck
  • Contributing to Treloar's QHSE management plan

POSITION SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES:

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience working in a Quarry or similar environment previously
  • Ability to work with a small team and unsupervised
  • Knowledge of crushing and blending to meet standards and specifications
  • Ability to meet production targets and complete allocated tasks within agreed timeframes
  • Highly motivated to be safe in everyday activities
  • Documented competencies in operating relevant plant
  • Valid driver's licence
