Grange Resources is Australia's most experienced magnetite producer from its iron ore mining and pellet production business located in North-West Tasmania.

The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine is a long-life mining asset where ore is mined and processed before it is transported by pipeline to the pellet plant and ship loading facility at Port Latta.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Process Operator to join our Savage River Operations.

In this permanent, full-time role (working a 4 x 4, 12-hour rotating shift roster averaging 42 hours per week), you will monitor, control and operate equipment as well as carry out recording, maintenance and laboratory functions as required.

To be successful, you must have:

  • A current driver's licence
  • The capability and commitment to work safely
  • Good computer skills

The following capabilities will be highly regarded:

  • Broad industry knowledge
  • Previous mineral processing experience
  • Trades assistant experience

You will be able to complete routine and assigned tasks efficiently and on time while maintaining effective work behaviour. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
