About the Role

As a Pharmacy Team Leader, you will be overseeing the team at Slade Pharmacy Chermside. Unlike community pharmacy, where the focus is often on volume and retail, hospital pharmacy offers a highly technical, clinically rich environment where precision, collaboration, and continuous learning are part of everyday practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily operational and dispensing activities in the pharmacy
• Ensure the ongoing development and maintenance of the pharmacies' services and resources
• Planning daily, weekly, and long-term goals, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Coordinating rosters and workload allocation
• Leading, training, and supporting your team
• Be accountable for financial and human resources management of the pharmacy department

About You

You are an experienced Pharmacist with experience in Pharmacy management or leadership roles. You bring a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and development. You're confident in guiding a pharmacy team while maintaining strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the hospital.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5-years' Pharmacist experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication abilities.
• Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from commencement of role.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Oncology pharmacy experience

Slade Pharmacy Chermside is located within Icon Cancer Centre Chermside, a purpose-built facility dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care.
