About Us

Pasiv Fire is a trusted Wollongong-based fire protection company specialising in the inspection, testing, installation, maintenance, and certification of passive fire protection systems. Our projects span across multiple industries—including infrastructure, healthcare, government, and real estate—across Sydney and the South Coast.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our team in full-time roles as a Passive Fire Systems Technician and Site Supervisor.

About the Role

As a Passive Fire Systems Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and repairing passive fire systems including fire seals, fire walls, fire dampers, fire-rated bulkheads, and fire doors.
  • Working independently as well as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintaining punctuality, reliability, and professionalism at all times.
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
  • Travelling to project sites across Sydney and the South Coast.
  • Completing relevant site inductions and training as required.

As a Site Supervisor, you will take on an additional leadership role, coordinating technician teams, managing project progress, and adapting workflows to meet deadlines. You will also be responsible for reporting project updates to the management team and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience in passive fire installations (preferred).
  • Carpentry or trades experience.
  • Proficiency with power and hand tools (essential).
  • Previous construction industry experience (essential).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • A strong team ethic and willingness to collaborate.
  • Current White Card.
  • Current driver's license.
