About Property Services
Within the Environment and
Community Services Group, the Property Services Branch is
responsible for a vast array of diverse assets from iconic Heritage
Listed assets such as the Empire Theatre and Toowoomba City Hall,
through to libraries, aquatic centres, depots, administration and
other key community buildings, work in parks on parks
infrastructure, as well as contributing to the maintenance of key
road infrastructure such as traffic lights and street lighting.
Spanning almost 13,000km2, the team works diligently to guarantee
essential community services are maintained in every corner of the
region.
About
the position
The Coordinator Electrical Services
provides strategic leadership and technical support to ensure
efficient and effective maintenance, repair, and operation of all
electrical infrastructure and systems under Property Services
custodianship. The role oversees the Supervisor responsible for the
Electrical team within the Property Services Trade Services
sections ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable services
and compliance with safety and regulator standards.
Reporting to the Principal Property
Operations, the Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the
management of daily activities and work assignments being organised
by their Supervisor and ensuring compliance with safety and
regulatory standards across trades. The Coordinator also
facilitates collaboration between various teams, including Building
Services, Facility Management, Signwriting, Fire Safety and
Emergency Management and Asset Security to deliver high-quality
services on diverse projects.
A key focus of this role is fostering a
culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork within the Electrical
Services teams, promoting cost-effective practices, and ensuring
that all work meets community expectations and department
standards.
This position will work under limited
direction.
