About the Role

Cook / Commis Chef | An exciting career opportunity exists for a passionate Qualified Chef to join the team in FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND.

We have vacancies across our eight venues in Far North Queensland including:

• The Edge Hill Tavern, 4870
• Balaclava Hotel, 4870
• Woree Tavern, 4868
• Raintrees Tavern, 4870
• Mission Beach Resort, 4852
• Smithfield Tavern, 4878
• Gateway Hotel Mareeba, 4880
• Atherton Hotel, 4883

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working in a hands-on, team focused bistro style kitchen
• Knowledge of cooking practices as they apply to the relevant venue's menu
• An uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• At least 2 years experience required
• Availability to work a rotating roster of days, nights & weekends
• Trade cooking qualifications are essential
• Flexible availability
