About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to establish and lead the engineering function at NuEnergy Infrastructure. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Projects, this is a pivotal senior leadership role with accountability for technical authority, engineering strategy, and delivery excellence.

You will set the benchmark for quality and governance, ensure systems and processes are robust and repeatable, and provide trusted leadership to both your team and the wider organisation. The role requires someone who can balance strategic leadership with operational involvement. Overseeing frameworks and assurance at the highest level, while also engaging on the ground with project leaders, site teams, and clients to ensure outcomes are achieved.

As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will:

• Define and deliver the engineering strategy, aligning systems and processes with project and business priorities.

• Provide assurance and governance across design, construction, and operations.

• Mentor and develop engineers, acting as both leader and escalation point.

• Build trusted relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership.

• Partner with project and commercial teams to support business development and tenders.

About You

• Chartered Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ accreditation (or working towards Fellow).

• 10+ years' senior leadership experience in engineering and project delivery ideally from an EPC/D&C environment.

• Demonstrated success in building repeatable systems and processes that lift organisational engineering capability.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

• A collaborative leadership style that motivates and develops high-performing teams.

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency status is required.
