In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support Service Technicians and Lead Technicians in the dismantling, cleaning, and reassembly of mechanical components.
  • Perform workshop tasks such as grit blasting, buffing, painting, tagging, and packaging.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support quality and data processes.
  • Follow safe and methodical work practices to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Assist in the remedial processing of various valves, including PRV, PSV, and control valves.
  • Prepare and paint valves, actuators, and flow control equipment to specification.
  • Accurately label and tag components for traceability.
  • Meet daily work targets and contribute to team goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Safely prepare goods for transport using industry-standard techniques.
  • Suggest improvements for cost reduction and process efficiency.
  • Build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Report on work progress and times in line with Emerson's quality systems.
  • Take on additional duties as required, aligned with your skills and capabilities.
  • Maintain physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
  • Be open to working reasonable overtime to meet delivery deadlines

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical repair and refurbishment of flow control equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and environmentally responsible work practices.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
