About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, highly conceptual Art Director to lead the visual evolution of Blueberry. You'll balance creative vision with execution, ensuring every campaign aligns with our brand purpose and business goals — while inspiring the team to push creative boundaries.

Note: At Blueberry, moving with purpose means showing up, connecting, and building momentum together. This role is based onsite in Sydney, Monday to Friday, where the real magic happens.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Define and evolve Blueberry's creative and visual direction across campaigns and evergreen assets

  • Lead concept development — from brainstorming and storyboarding to final visual execution

  • Translate business goals into sharp, inspiring creative briefs

  • Oversee campaign execution across print, digital, film, motion, and experiential formats

  • Guide, mentor, and inspire designers to deliver high-quality work

  • Ensure brand consistency and visual excellence across all touchpoints

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and design teams to align creative direction

  • Present and sell creative ideas to executives and stakeholders

  • Manage production timelines, vendor relationships, and budgets

  • Stay ahead of visual trends and integrate innovative design techniques

  • Maintain brand guidelines, systems, and asset libraries



Skills And Experiences

Who We're Hoping to Find

  • 7+ years of experience in graphic, motion, or visual design roles

  • Proven experience leading campaigns and managing creative teams

  • Exceptional visual storytelling, typography, and layout skills

  • Deep Adobe Creative Cloud expertise (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Hands-on experience with Figma and motion/video workflows

  • Strong communication and presentation skills — able to inspire and influence

  • Highly organised, with strong project management across multiple campaigns

  • Strategic thinker who connects creative ideas to business outcomes

  • Portfolio that demonstrates creative excellence across diverse media

Extra Points if You Have

  • Experience with DAM systems, UI/UX, or basic web design

  • Familiarity with 3D, AR/VR, or experiential design

  • Understanding of campaign analytics and data-informed design

  • Experience with sponsorships, activations, or live events
