experienced Financial Controller
.

We are partnering with one of Australia's leading and most respected machinery dealers. This business is experiencing strong growth and expansion, backed by over 40 years of combined industry experience, and is known for its exceptional expertise and trusted reputation for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end financial operations including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month end close.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, BAS submissions, and internal controls.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial systems to support operational efficiency.
  • Partner closely with operations and leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis driving business growth.
  • Lead and develop a finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial controls and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage day to day company accounts
  • Assist with financial planning
  • Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management
  • Ensure government compliance in all tasks

About You:

  • Proven experience within the machinery, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax, and BAS compliance.
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualified (essential).
  • Additional certifications in financial management or business leadership (desirable).
