YMCA Childcare and Kindergarten is a small, boutique service of 55 children over three rooms. We dedicate our day to ensuring that the children in our care get the most out of their play, learn new skills and develop an understanding of what they can accomplish. Our team of passionate, dedicated Educators support our children to achieve goals, extend on learning and ensure that all children have the opportunity to thrive in their time with us.

About The Role

YMCA Childcare and Kindergarten are seeking qualified Educators to work with children from the ages of 18 months to Kindergarten.

As an Educator at the YMCA, you are:

  • Essential in ensuring the safety of our children
  • Creating and participating in an engaging program that is age appropriate for our children
  • Provide dynamic activities that invite children to play
  • Be a team player

This role is a casual role with the possibility of turning into a permanent part time position.

About You

  • Current Paid Blue Card
  • First Aid/CPR including Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis (Or willing to obtain)
  • Completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A sound knowledge of the Early Years Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide
  • Be a team player and comfortable to take initiate and get stuff done
  • Communication skills
