The role

  • Support MG cultural knowledge-holders to develop presentation and other skills as necessary to enable a high-standard for the delivery of in-person CAT training sessions
  • Ensure training meets both cultural protocols and client learning outcomes.
  • Manage and utilise the organisation's Learning & Development (LMS) system to schedule sessions, enroll participants, track progress, and store training records.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for those engaging with CAT, providing timely and respectful responses.
  • Manage client accounts, including follow-up, feedback, and opportunities for future training services.
  • Foster respectful relationships with stakeholders, government, service providers, and local Aboriginal groups that are aligned with MGAC's values.
  • Nurture strong partnerships with other local organisations, community groups, and service providers.
  • Advocate for both MGAC's cultural values and the business benefits of investing in Cultural Awareness Training.
  • Prepare culturally respectful communications such as promotional materials and information packs.
  • Tailor communications and proposals to suit diverse audiences, including corporate, government, private, and community sectors.
  • Upload, update, and manage CAT training resources within the LMS system to ensure version control and accessibility for users.
  • Support the implementation and review of MGAC and Cultural Awareness Training plans.
  • Maintain accurate client records, sales data, and relationship management notes in organisational systems.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on CAT.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise with the LMS system and client interaction with online CAT.
