You will play a pivotal role in Plico's Operations and Service team, and you'll be supported as such by a management team of experienced electricians with industry and regulatory knowledge.

Don't have your battery certification yet? Don't worry, Plico will cover the cost of your course and provide you with further in house industry training.

Requirements

  • SAA Solar Accreditationis required.
  • Current A grade electrical license.
  • Working at Heights.
  • White Card.

Skills and Experience

  • High risk work license class (WP) is advantageous.
  • SAA Battery Accreditationis strongly advantageous.

  • CPR certification (within 3 years) will be advantageous.

  • Previous combined Solar & Battery Installation experience will be advantageous.

  • Previous experience working on Alpha ESS, Sigenergy and Redback Technologies hybrid systems will be advantageous.
  • Be capable of working within a team and supervising an apprentice or trade assistant.

Package

  • $60 - $67+ per hour + penalties.
  • $3k sign on bonus on completion of probation period.
  • Per Kw installed bonuses for both solar and battery, apprentices included to ensure everyone is given a motivation.
  • Company provided Milwaukee power tools.
  • Take home maintained work vehicle with fuel card.
  • Laptop/Tablet/Phone.
  • Allowance for your own solar + battery or battery only system.
  • SAA Battery Certification if not already attained.
  • Already have an apprentice you like? If they're a good fit, we will happily take them onboard.
