What is the role?
Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for retail? Then we want to hear from you - We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to join our team at Toowoombastore and take charge
In this pivotal role, you'll drive sales and profitability for store, lead and develop a high-performing team aligned to our core values, and create a memorable customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively and attentively takes ownership of overall store performance
- Drives sales, profit, controls costs to ensure the achievement of both individual and team KPI's
- Ensures a customer centric culture, resulting in a warm, helpful, and exceptional customer experience
- Provides inspirational leadership and training to develop their team to deliver outstanding results
- Lead, coach and develop the retail sales team to achieve targets and build a high-performing team
- Develop and Implement strategies that can maximize both sales and customer service targets thereby driving store performance
- Be a product knowledge expert and be as keen as beans to live our values #WeKeepItReal, #WeAddValue, #WeMakeItPersonal, #WeAreExperts, #WeAreDistinctive
- Adheres to all company behaviours, policies, and procedures
- Ensures a clean, tidy, and safe work environment advocating and ensuring OH&S principles are adhered to at all times
Who are we looking for?
With a strong retail background, commercial acumen and passion for customer service, you are someone who thrives in a team environment and knows how to bring out the best in people. You bring energy, resilience and a hands-on approach to everything you do - and you are ready to take the next step into retail leadership
- 3-5 years retail management experience in a similar role
- Drive and innate passion about providing a customer experience that is second to none
- Demonstrated collaborative and approachable style and ability to deliver and exceed results and targets
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching teams
- Ability to manage budgets, drive KPI's, ensure compliance, interpret/create reporting, and generate efficient and compliant rosters
- Honesty, integrity, and open communication
- A work ethic that is uncompromised, commitment to adding value and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties.
