About the role

The Delany Hotel is seeking a motivated Part-Time Bottleshop Attendant to join our team in Cooks Hill, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the smooth running of our busy bottleshop.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-stocked bottleshop
  • Ensuring all products are displayed and presented attractively
  • Handling cash and card transactions efficiently
  • Providing recommendations and advice to customers on beer, wine and spirit selections
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Supporting the wider team with any other tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the hospitality or beverage industry
  • Nights and weekend availability a MUST
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
  • A keen interest in and knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
  • A positive, enthusiastic and reliable attitude
