About the team

The Financial Performance and Investments Division provides a full range of financial services including budgeting, procurement, customer accounts, property management, financial planning, taxation and investment management services.

About the role

The role is responsible for providing advice on procurement and supplier relations for NSW Trustee & Guardian (NSWTG), including the development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, procurement, contracting and supplier management, and operational processes to ensure the agency attains value for money in both corporate and customer procurement.

About you

Applications are encouraged if you demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Significant experience in leading and implementing major procurement strategies and reforms.
  • Significant knowledge of policy and statutory requirements relating to procurement and contract management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing interests and priorities.
  • Ability to support effective procurement management and ensuring adherence to policies and processes.

Essential requirements

  • Advise business units on procurement frameworks, policies, procedures and strategies to enhance performance and deliver quality service to stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on supplier relations and contract management, promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Develop and implement standardized procurement policies and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Design and support supplier and contract management processes to facilitate implementation and foster continuous improvement.
